We were asked by Meta to create a sticker pack that celebrates friendship universally. In order to achieve that, we thought about two non-human characters that incorporate the fun and the brand colours of Whatsapp. Axo & Jax are two creatures inspired by an existing amphibian creature, the axolotl. The challenge was to create a limited but effective range of expressions and to bring whatsapp users close together by helping them communicate effortlessly.
